spirit seeley, 19, and ryan mcquiston of boulder were both arrested for third-degree assault after a punching and swearing incident. according to the police report, mcquiston said he was at a local consignment shop when he discovered 'most of his clothes' hanging on a rack. he called seeley, his former girlfriend of five years, asking if she had sold his clothes. according to the police report, they agreed to meet outside the 7-eleven on walnut street, where seeley says mcquiston hit her with a phone and then punched her on the mouth. according to the report, he skateboarded off, and she followed him, both swearing. seeley says he then hit her in the face with the skateboard. mcquiston denied this, saying seeley hit him in the face with the phone, while he threw his skateboard at her. when a police officer arrived, he saw seeley chasing mcquiston, who was yelling, 'just leave me alone.' a witness told police the two were swearing at each other all the way down the street. she allegedly yelled obscenities such as 'f_______ dick, f____ you,' while mcquiston yelled, 'f_______ bitch, f____ you.' the skateboard was confiscated by police.
